Join us again for another year of award winning music and entertainment.  Featuring two stages of live entertainment headlined by the legendary LAKESIDE, old school giant, TIERRA, toe stopping  ROD PIAZZA AND MIGHTY FLYERS, BIG PAPA and the TCB and  WUMBLOOZO playing blues the way it oughta be; the Caravan of All Stars  high energy blues, rhythm and soul  show and a special tribute to Motown  and the Temptations, featuring the renown 5 Tempting Men. Our International Showcase stage highlights rock, pop, country, rock n Española, old school and more.  Additional guests and artist will join this two day extravaganza. Arrive early so you can mark out your spot. Your blanket is welcomed at this family friendly event.

In addition to the music and entertainment,  the HDMF host the HIGH DESERT BBQ SHOWDOWN. Gather your taste buds and experience the very best in BBQ as the nation’s top pit masters compete in the High Desert BBQ Showdown.  BBQ top grillers have been recruited to compete in this jaw droppin’, smoke out that will crown the SHOWDOWN king. The prestigious Kansas City Barbecue Society has sanctioned  this event which features competitions in four mouth-watering categories: Beef Brisket, Pork Ribs, Chicken and Pork. One team also will be named champion of the event and as a festival goer, you can cast your vote toward the People’s Choice award.
